This Privacy Policy explains how Hongxing VPN (the 'Service', 'we', or 'us') collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the mobile application (the 'App'). We process data only where it is lawful, necessary, and relevant to operating the Service.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, session duration, and basic diagnostics. To provide more stable global access, we may process approximate device location for: 1. route recommendations based on Hongxing VPN node availability; 2. anonymous aggregated performance analysis; and 3. service updates, security notices, or account-related messages. Sensitive information is handled under this policy.

We only transmit aggregated anonymous data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. We do not share personal information with third parties except when: 1. required by legal process or regulation; 2. necessary to protect users or investigate fraud; or 3. working with entrusted providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new App data collection, uninstall the App using your device's standard process.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable retention period afterward. To cancel your account or request deletion of personal data, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13; if we discover mistakenly collected child data, we will delete it as soon as possible. Guardians may also contact us through the same email. We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect data.

This Privacy Policy may be updated because of regulatory requirements, product changes, or operational needs. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
